Rapper Lil Nas X was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department early Thursday morning in Studio City and subsequently received medical treatment for a potential overdose.
Details of the Arrest
At approximately 5:50 a.m., LAPD officers were dispatched to the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Vineland Avenue following reports of a man walking in the street. Once on scene, officers encountered a man who charged at them and were compelled to take him into custody.
The individual was identified as 26-year-old Montero Lamar Hill, professionally known as Lil Nas X. He faces charges for battery on a police officer and was later transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation related to a possible overdose.
